Prof. Mohamed Boutinguiza Larosi is a Full Professor of Applied Physics at the University of Vigo, specializing in laser materials processing, nanoparticles, and biomaterials. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Vigo in 2001 and has built an extensive research career focused on laser-based synthesis, surface modification, Experimental methods and photocatalytic applications, particularly in water remediation using TiO₂-based materials. With over 100 international publications, 3,200+ citations, and an h-index of 32, he has been consistently ranked among the world’s top most cited scientists. His contributions include numerous national and European projects, industry collaborations, and 11 registered patents, alongside international research stays across leading European institutions.
