Dr. Frank Breve is a nationally and internationally recognized clinical pharmacist, pharmaceutical consultant, and academic leader with over four decades of professional experience in healthcare practice, research, education, and regulatory compliance. He serves as President and CEO of Mid Atlantic PharmaTech Consultants, LLC, where he provides expert guidance in clinical pharmacy, controlled substance compliance, drug diversion prevention, and healthcare auditing. In parallel, he has been an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Temple University School of Pharmacy since 2009, contributing extensively to professional training and curriculum development. Dr. Breve holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Colorado, an MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University, and undergraduate degrees in Pharmacy and Psychology from Temple University. He is a Certified Consultant Pharmacist and is licensed to practice in multiple U.S. states. His multidisciplinary academic background enables him to integrate clinical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and health economics into innovative research and consulting practices. His research and scholarly work focus on drug diversion detection, opioid stewardship, addiction medicine, pharmaceutical compliance, controlled substances management, healthcare auditing, and pharmacoeconomics in clinical trials. Dr. Breve has authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications and a book chapter, contributing significantly to evidence-based pharmacy practice and policy development. His research has influenced national standards on diversion prevention, waste management, and institutional compliance with the Controlled Substances Act.
